GuestBookVid is a web-based video guestbook for all kinds of events, from weddings, birthdays, and reunions to office events and exhibitions. Guests simply record a short video message right from a tablet, phone, or laptop, without installing any app. Each video is automatically given a beautiful digital frame and can be downloaded by scanning a QR code. Organizers can also download all videos from the dashboard. The result is a collection of heartfelt messages to be treasured forever, far more alive than writing in an ordinary guestbook.
How does it work?
Steps for event organizers
- Create an event. Log in to the GuestBookVid dashboard, create a new event, and set the maximum video length (up to 60 seconds).
- Make the payment. Pay IDR 100,000 per event via QRIS or credit card.
- Prepare the recording device. Use an iPad, Android tablet, phone, laptop, or all-in-one PC. No app installation is needed, just open it in a browser.
- Connect the device. Scan the QR code from the dashboard using that device. The 24-hour active period starts when the device connects.
- Place it at the venue. Set the device up at the guest table or a dedicated area, and guests can start recording right away.
- Download the results. After the event, download all videos at once from the dashboard. Videos are stored for 30 days.
Steps for guests/visitors
- Go to the recording device. Simply head to the guestbook video table or area at the event.
- Start recording. Tap the record button, then share your wishes, prayers, or message (up to 60 seconds).
- Choose your consent. Decide whether the video may be published for promotional purposes. If not, only the guest and the event owner can download it.
- The video is processed. The video is automatically given a digital frame, like in a photo booth.
- Scan the QR code to save. Guests can download their own video as a keepsake.
